Welcome to
Richmond Language Academy
What is EEP?
The English Exposure Program uses personalized task-based approach for language learning.
You will be doing different tasks which are focused on your interests and language goals.
This method is very effective compared to traditional learning because you will be using the language and experience communication in real situations rather than just inside the classroom. We believe that the most effective way to learn is through actual application.

Assessment & Training Customization

Our experienced language coaches take the time to thoroughly assess each client's unique profile before the start of training. This process involves gathering detailed information about their strengths, areas for improvement, learning preferences, and personal interests. By understanding these key factors, we can design a fully customized course tailored to their specific goals and requirements. Whether it's enhancing conversational skills, preparing for professional communication, or mastering a particular accent, our personalized approach ensures that every client receives training that is not only effective but also engaging and relevant to their individual needs.
The 4 Steps of EEP
The EEP consists of tasks for travel, daily survival, business situations, accent training for the target language, and others. Clients have the option to fully customize their training based on which areas they want to learn or improve.
Each task will be carefully planned and prepared to make sure the clients' experience will be as real as possible to enhance learning and self-confidence with communication.
STEP 1 & 2: Learn & Practice
In the morning, you will learn the necessary skills for the task like phrases, pronunciation, gestures, and others.
Then, you will practice what you have learned with your language coach using "roleplays or simulations" to make sure you will be fully prepared for the task.

STEP 3 & 4: Apply and Review
In the afternoon, you will go out and apply your skills in "real situations" with "real people" (not a simulation) while your language coach monitors your performance.
At the end of the day, you go back to class and your language coach will comment and give advice regarding your performance.

Materials
RLA promotes the use of technology and "paperless method," so most of our materials are in electronic formats like PDF or EBook.
Meaning to say, the clients and language coaches will be using smart devices like tablets, smartphones or laptops during the training.
